Production Chemicals
Epoxy Oilserv supplies and supports oil and gas production chemicals for separation, produced water, integrity, gas treatment and flow assurance applications in Nigeria. Our approach begins with the operating problem and available field data, then connects chemical selection to testing, controlled trials, monitoring and measurable acceptance criteria.

Production Chemicals Engineered Around Field Performance
Production chemistry is not simply the purchase of a drum or tote. Crude composition, water chemistry, temperature, pressure, residence time, materials of construction, injection point and the existing treatment program can all affect performance. A chemical that works at one facility may require different screening, dosage or application conditions at another.
Epoxy Oilserv helps procurement, production, integrity and technical teams define the operating symptom, collect the required information, evaluate an appropriate treatment route and establish how performance will be measured.
Production Chemical Solutions
Demulsifiers and Crude Oil Dehydration
Demulsifier programs support crude oil and water separation, dehydration, interface control and reduction of basic sediment and water. Selection should consider crude characteristics, emulsion stability, temperature, mixing energy, residence time and the current injection location. Bottle testing and controlled field trials can help compare candidate chemistry and dosage before wider deployment.
Produced Water Treatment
Produced water treatment programs may include water clarifiers, reverse demulsifiers, deoilers, flotation aids and other application-specific chemistries. The treatment route should be based on representative sampling, oil-in-water performance, suspended solids, separation equipment and the operating limitations of the facility.
Oilfield Biocides and Microbial Control
Microbial control can be required in water injection, produced water, pipelines, storage and process systems. A responsible program begins with baseline sampling and an understanding of the organisms, system conditions and treatment objectives. Product compatibility, batch or continuous dosing, contact time, HSE controls and post-treatment monitoring should be considered together.
Corrosion Inhibitors and Internal Corrosion Control
Corrosion inhibitor selection should be connected to the actual damage mechanism and operating environment. Treatment can form part of a wider integrity program for wells, flowlines, pipelines, separators and water systems. Monitoring may include coupons, probes, residual testing, water analysis and operational trends. Chemical treatment does not replace inspection or an established integrity management program.
Scale Inhibitors, Dissolvers and Scale Management
Scale management starts with water chemistry, deposit identification and compatibility review. Treatment options can include continuous inhibitor injection, partner-supported squeeze programs and carefully selected dissolvers. Production scale treatment must be distinguished from general industrial descaling and cleaning.
H2S Scavengers and Sour Stream Treatment
H2S scavenger programs require stream conditions, gas or liquid composition, target H2S concentration, contact time, materials, downstream constraints and safe handling requirements. Product selection and dosage should be evaluated against an agreed performance target rather than a universal dosage assumption.
Oxygen Scavengers and Water System Chemistry
Oxygen scavengers can support dissolved oxygen control in injection water, boiler water and process water systems. A treatment program should connect measured dissolved oxygen, water flow, reaction time, temperature and monitoring method to dosage control.
Flow Assurance and Foam Control
Flow assurance challenges can include wax, paraffin, asphaltene, hydrate and foam-related problems. Screening requires an understanding of fluids, temperature and pressure profile, production history, shutdown conditions and facility limitations. Potential treatment can include wax inhibitors, pour point depressants, dispersants, hydrate control chemistry, antifoams and defoamers.
Our Field Performance Workflow
- Diagnose: Define the operating symptom, affected equipment, current program, fluid data and target outcome.
- Test: Screen suitable chemical families using representative samples and documented test conditions where testing is appropriate.
- Trial: Establish a controlled field trial with baseline performance, responsibilities, duration, dosage range and stop criteria.
- Monitor: Track agreed indicators such as BS&W, oil-in-water, microbial count, corrosion rate, dissolved oxygen, H2S, pressure or cleaning endpoint.
- Optimise: Confirm the treatment program, dosage, supply plan, reporting method and ongoing technical support requirements.
Information Required for a Technical Review
Providing complete information helps the technical and commercial team respond more effectively. Where available, include:
- Facility, system and affected equipment
- Description of the operating problem and when it began
- Fluid, crude, gas or water data
- Temperature, pressure, flow and residence time
- Current product, dosage and injection point
- Recent laboratory or monitoring results
- Target performance and acceptance criteria
- Required pack size, quantity and delivery location
Technical Documents and Product Qualification
Product and supplier qualification may require current technical data sheets, safety data sheets, certificate of analysis format, batch traceability, packaging information and verified approvals. Documentation should be requested for the exact product and grade under consideration. Visit the Technical Library or include the required document in the quote request.
