Petrobras Oil and Gas production Drops Due to workers strike
Oil and gas output in November for the Brazilian state-owned oil giant Petrobras has dropped due to a strike by the oil workers during the month.
Average oil and natural gas output in Brazil and other countries in November was 2.71 million boed, down 1.8% from 2.76 million boed in October, due to shutdowns of production facilities during the workers’ strike.
Despite these interruptions, the company confirms its Brazilian oil production target of 2.125 million barrels per day for 2015 as a whole, Petrobras said.
In November, oil and natural gas production operated by Petrobras in the pre-salt layer increased 1.8% from the previous month, reaching a daily average of 1.023 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), up from 1.005 million boed in October.

Oil and Gas production in other countries
In November, Petrobras produced 190,000 boed in countries other than Brazil, down 2.4% from 194,000 boed the previous month. This reduction is mainly due to operations to clean production lines in the Saint Malo field and platform maintenance in the Lucius and Hadrian South fields, in the United States, said the company.
Average oil production in November was 96,000 bpd, down 3.7% from 99,000 bpd in October, due to the aforementioned reasons.
